Aluminite is a refractory cement especially designed to create refractory and isolating mortars and concretes. Aluminite is made of calcium aluminates and minerals rich in aluminium, both milled to the size of microns. By increasing the service temperature its components are sintered and ceramized which thus increases Aluminite's fusion temperature and mechanical resistance. It also displays rapid hardening which helps for a rapid release and/or placement into service.

Shipping and storage
In 25 kg sacks and bigbags. When in sacks, it shall be stored in closed sacks within a fresh dry and well ventilated environment, avoiding air currents and separated from floor and walls.
Especially recommended for
Refractory mortar and concrete up to temperatures of some 1,300 ºC.
Not suitable for
Non refractory applications or refractory concretes with work temperatures higher than 1,300 ºC.
PRECAUTIONS WHEN PUTTING INTO USE
Always use appropriate refractory arids depending to the work temperature. Follow work placement form of refractory concrete. Follow recommendations of initial heating of a refractory concrete.
